Skateboarding App for iPhone with Skatepark Locator

While I’ve been unimpressed with some of the skateboarding apps/games for iPhone, I’ve found one worth keeping. It’s called GoLearn Skateboarding and has some nifty features including high-res videos of trick tips. While currently the trick tips are fairly limited I do believe they’ll be releasing some video updates in the future. The app does weigh in at 365 MB because of all the videos built in.  The app does cost $4.99, but the skatepark locator feature is worth it all by itself. I don’t know what skatepark database they’re using, but the fact that it ties into my GPS and lets me find parks within a certain radius is killer! Now it’s time for a roadtrip. If you know of any killer iPhone apps for skateboarders then post a comment below. Thanks!

The Battle at The Berrics 2009

If you haven’t watched any of the Battle at The Berrics clips then you need to spend the next two hours of your life watching them. I’m picking Mike Mo to take the whole thing, but there are some killer street skaters in contention. See below for the best Berrics game of skate so far - Mike Mo vs Furby.
